FLUTE WORKSHOP
The flute workshop is a traditional ‘Gurukul way of learning music. It comprises 8-10 hours of daily riyaaz meaning practice of music.
Workshops are conducted far away from the city for 3 to 7 days.
These workshops help students learn various ways of ‘riyaaz’ or practice, introducing them to different techniques of flute playing. During the workshop, disciples get to stay with their guru and learn. Individual attention is paid to students during these workshops.
In addition to learning the flute, participants are also exposed to other art forms like painting, dance, vocal etc
Such holistic exposure to the world of art in myriad forms has made students not only aware about the flute but also bestowed upon them the ability to enjoy and appreciate other art forms: The workshops have been conducted in Karjat, Pune Nasik Chalisgaon and Thane at regular intervals throughout the year. Undoubtedly students seek to benefit a lot through such workshops.

Khandesh Sangeet Samaroh-
vThe rich legacy of Indian classical music had not gained much root in the Khandesh region of Maharashtra. In the year April 2010, in his hometown Chalisgaon, Vivek Sonar started the music movement called ‘Khandesh Sangeet Samaroh’. The effort was to ensure that the roots of music held ground and people learnt to appreciate Indian classical music even in small towns. Through this occasion, it was possible to bring performances of leading artists from all over India to music lovers of Khandesh.
‘Khandesh Sangeet Samaroh’ began in February 2012.
